Sam and Freddie sat on the couch, fighting once again. They had started about five minutes ago, and were still calling each other names, some that Carly had never heard.

"Dip thong!"

"Delinquent!"

"Dork!"

"She-beast!"

"Geek!"

Carly watched them as they fought, noticing how close they were. She rolled her eyes at their name-calling, although, she was starting to get annoyed. _They'll stop eventually. _She thought.

She was in the kitchen, getting a juice pouch. She got it and stuck the red straw in the opening at the top and began sipping quietly.

_Why do they always fight? _She thought.

She sipped on her drink until she had finished it. She walked back into the living room and stood behind the couch. Sam and Freddie were still calling each other names.

"Blonde-headed demon!"

"Dish rag!"

"Samantha!" Sam looked at him in surprise. Her eyes narrowed and she grabbed the collar of his shirt. "What'd you say, Fredward?" she asked, venom lacing her tone. He gulped, but didn't back down.

"Samantha." He repeated. She pulled him closer to her, something Carly didn't think was possible. _If they got any closer, they're lips would touch…_

That was when a little light bulb flashed on over Carly's head.

"Listen Freddork, you call me that again and I'll-" she wasn't able to finish, because Carly had pressed her hands to the back of both Sam's and Freddie's heads, and had pushed them together, forcing their lips to connect.

Carly watched for about three seconds as her friends kissed, both of their mouths moving, both of their eyes closed. Well, until Sam's eyes snapped open and she realized what they were doing. She released her seal on Freddie as her face turned red, first from embarrassment, then from anger. Freddie's eyes snapped open as the seal was broken as his cheeks turned pink from embarrassment, although, unlike Sam, he was not angry. Truthfully, he had liked it, and that fact scared him.

Sam turned to Carly, who was smiling. "You're a dead girl, Shay!" Carly screamed as Sam jumped over the couch. They both sped up the steps and Freddie heard a door slam moments later.

He touched his tingling lips. He still tasted Sam's strawberry Chap Stick on his lips. He smiled then realized something.

He had forgotten why they were fighting in the first place.
